Tally Ho Collective is dedicated to providing holistic services that support conscious living and dying. We celebrate life, honor death, and cherish every moment in between by empowering individuals to approach the end of life as consciously as they have lived—with grace, autonomy, and joy. Through the art of documenting life and creating timeless legacies, we help individuals preserve their stories, values, and memories for future generations.
Amy Clark, a certified End-of-Life Doula and Community Health Worker, founded Tally Ho Collective in Vermont as a collection of in-person and remote services for life, death, and the in-between. She offers compassionate support for those navigating life’s transitions, ensuring their journey is met with dignity, meaning, and care.
What is a Death Doula?
An End-of-Life Doula, or Death Doula is someone who serves as a guide, advocate, and experienced professional for those at the end of life. They complement the care provided by loved ones and the medical, palliative, and hospice professionals within the settings of hospitals, care facilities, and homes. Doulas provide support by attuning themselves to the inner well-being of their clients, and offering personalized care and services, including emotional, spiritual, informational, and physical support. By creating space for clients to express themselves, reflect, and navigate this stage with courage and authenticity, Doulas help in creating meaningful, even positive, transitions for clients and their loved ones.
What is a Community Health Worker?
A Community Health Worker (CHW) is a frontline public health professional dedicated to bridging the gap between healthcare providers and the community. Rooted in the communities they serve, CHWs offer health education, advocate for individual and collective needs, and help navigate the healthcare system. By sharing deep connection to the community they serve and lived experiences with those they assist, CHWs play a vital role in improving healthcare access, reducing disparities, and fostering overall well-being.
